How the visit goes
Interview and clinical examination
History and clinical examination with Dr Zeljko Djordjevic. Reports, tests and images already done help set the picture straight away.
Ultrasound, when needed
In-house musculoskeletal ultrasound assesses joints, tendons and soft tissues during the same visit.
Indication and plan
We decide whether a treatment is indicated, which one, and whether it belongs in the pathway. The plan is agreed at the visit. For pain, the options are summarised in Pain therapy in Lugano.
Treatments
Treatments are booked with the practice, on site, during opening hours.
Languages
The visit takes place in Italian, German, English, Serbian or Slovenian.
Who pays
The practice is RME certified and, in Ticino, bills complementary insurers: with complementary insurance, under certain conditions, the treatment can be reimbursed. Patients with basic insurance only receive a clear cost estimate at the visit and pay directly.
First visit: about CHF 140–170. The exact amount is confirmed at the visit.
