Privacy
This page explains how Swiss Centro Medico processes personal data on the website swisscentromedico.ch. The Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) applies. This is not legal advice.
1. Controller
Controller: Dr med. univ. Zeljko Djordjevic, who practises as a sole proprietor under the Swiss Centro Medico mark, without a company. UID: CHE-209.851.548. Licensed to practise medicine in the Canton of Ticino (federal register MedReg).

2. Which data we process
There are no contact forms or newsletter on the site. Google Analytics is activated only if you accept it in the cookie banner (section 5). The Google map loads only if you click “Show the Google map”; until then an image stored on this site stands in its place (section 4).
- Booking: if you use OneDoc, name, contact details and any medical notes you enter go to OneDoc SA, then to the practice.
- Email and telephone: messages to dr.djordjevic@hin.ch go through Health Info Net AG (HIN). Calls to +41 91 921 04 27 stay at the practice. WhatsApp messages to +41 78 605 33 72 go through Meta.
- Measurement, only with your consent: Google Analytics receives the pages visited, where the visit came from, the type of device and browser, and the clicks on Book, WhatsApp and phone. We send no names, contact details or health data. A page on a medical site can still reveal an interest in health: that is why Google Analytics is not activated without your yes, and we use neither personalised advertising nor remarketing.
- Server log, for every visitor: for every page or file requested, the server writes a line with the IP address, date and time, the address requested (including its parameters), the referring page and the type of browser. Clicks on Book and WhatsApp also leave a line. No cookies are used. The log serves to run the site and for security.
3. Why
To run and protect the site, to let you book a visit and contact the practice and, with your consent, to measure visits with Google Analytics.
4. Recipients
- OneDoc SA (Geneva): online booking. Data hosted in Switzerland, ISO 27001 and DPCO certifications. Notice: privacy.onedoc.ch.
- Health Info Net AG (HIN), Wallisellen, CHE-103.489.218: medical email. Notice: hin.ch.
- Google: the practice’s interactive map loads only if you click “Show the Google map”: at that moment Google receives your IP address and the address of this site (not of the page) and may set its own cookies, depending on your browser settings. Before the click, an image stored on this site (data © OpenStreetMap) stands in its place and sends nothing to anyone. With your consent, Google Analytics for statistics. Notice: policies.google.com.
- Passiro ApS (Frederiksberg, Denmark): the cookie banner. On every page your browser downloads the banner and its settings from cdn.passiro.com, on Cloudflare’s network: Passiro and Cloudflare receive the IP address and the type of browser, to deliver the banner, recognise the country and for security, and as a rule keep them for 30 days at most. When you choose, Passiro records the choice with a random identifier (that of the passiro_consent cookie), date and time, without the full IP address or the page, and keeps it for 13 months. Notice: passiro.com.
- Webmaster: the webmaster, in Switzerland, looks after and hosts the site for the practice and has access to the server log and the Google Analytics and Passiro accounts.
- Meta (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp): the practice’s public pages on Instagram and Facebook (@swisscentromedicolugano). The site embeds no content from Instagram or Facebook: Meta receives data only if you open these links or write on WhatsApp. WhatsApp messages to +41 78 605 33 72 go through Meta. We do not use Instagram or Facebook as a contact form.
- X: the practice’s public profile, @SwissCentroMed. Here too, X receives data only if you open the link.
- Site host: Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva), from which the webmaster rents the hosting: in data centres in Switzerland, it publishes these pages and keeps the log (section 2).
If we add other recipients in future, we will list them here.
5. Cookies
The site uses no advertising cookies and, without your consent, no measurement cookies either. In the banner you can decline everything, accept everything or choose with the Statistics switch (Google Analytics), off; the Preferences switch turns nothing on, because the site uses no preference cookies. The choice counts for 6 months; then the banner appears again. As proof of consent Passiro records the choice (section 4). If you later withdraw your consent, or when the choice expires, the site deletes the Google Analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
In all, 3 cookies (1 necessary and 2 for statistics) and 2 Passiro entries in the browser’s storage.

The Google map, if you open it with the click, may set Google cookies (section 4).
6. How long we keep the data
The server log is kept for the period set by Infomaniak, at least 7 days. Passiro keeps its record of the choice, which proves consent, for 13 months.
In Google Analytics, data tied to individual visitors and events are deleted after 14 months; aggregated, anonymous reports may be kept longer.
7. Transfers abroad
The site and its log are on Infomaniak servers in Switzerland. OneDoc and HIN declare that they store the data in Switzerland. Passiro keeps the data on its own servers in Denmark (European Union); Cloudflare, which delivers the banner, stores it in the European Union, but a request may pass through the data centre nearest the visitor and Cloudflare support may access it from the United States, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Google and Meta may also process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States. Google LLC declares that it adheres to the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks, which the European Commission (decision of 10 July 2023) and the Federal Council (since 15 September 2024) recognise as adequate protection; otherwise their notices and the safeguards provided by the nFADP apply.
8. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing and receive the data you gave us in a common electronic format, within the limits of the law. Reports: Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), edoeb.admin.ch.
Consent to cookies can be withdrawn or changed at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
9. Scope
This notice concerns only the website swisscentromedico.ch. For the data processed at the practice (medical record, billing, laboratory tests, exchanges with other doctors and with insurers), please contact the practice directly, using the details in section 1.
