Privacy

This page explains how Swiss Centro Medico processes personal data on the website swisscentromedico.ch and in the Lugano practice. The Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) applies. This is not legal advice.

1. Controller

Controller: Dr med. univ. Zeljko Djordjevic, who practises as a sole proprietor under the Swiss Centro Medico mark, without a company. UID: CHE-209.851.548. Licensed to practise medicine in the Canton of Ticino (federal register MedReg).

2. Which data we process

On the site there are no contact forms, Analytics, advertising pixels or newsletter.

  • Booking: if you use OneDoc, name, contact details and any medical notes you enter go to OneDoc SA, then to the practice.
  • Email and telephone: messages to dr.djordjevic@hin.ch go through Health Info Net AG (HIN). Calls to +41 91 921 04 27 stay at the practice. WhatsApp messages to +41 78 605 33 72 go through Meta.
  • Technical: the server may record IP address, date and page visited, to make the site work and for security.
  • At the practice: identity and health data needed for the visit, billing and legal duties. Medical records are kept both on paper and in practice software.

3. Why

To book and manage visits, treat, invoice, comply with health law and make the site work.

4. Recipients

  • OneDoc SA (Geneva): online booking. Data hosted in Switzerland, ISO 27001 and DPCO certifications. Notice: privacy.onedoc.ch.
  • Health Info Net AG (HIN), Wallisellen, CHE-103.489.218: medical email. Notice: hin.ch.
  • Google: map of the practice. Requests towards Google servers may be sent.
  • Meta (Instagram, WhatsApp): the public page @swisscentromedicolugano. WhatsApp messages to +41 78 605 33 72 go through Meta. We do not use Instagram as a contact form on the site.
  • Complementary insurance / RME: if a benefit is reimbursable, billing data may go to the insurer, within the limits of the law.
  • Site host: the server that publishes these pages.

The Lugano practice does not use laboratory, imaging, accountant or video surveillance as channels of this site. WhatsApp messages use the number +41 78 605 33 72 and go through Meta. If we add other channels in future, we will write them here.

5. Cookies

Technical cookies to make the site work (for example access to the preview or the internal area). No profiling or advertising cookies from us. The Google map may set third-party cookies.

6. How long we keep the data

Medical record and health documents: at least 10 years from the end of treatment (health law of Ticino). As a rule up to 20 years, for civil-liability time limits (guidance from FMH and FDPIC). Site logs are kept for the time needed for security and technical management.

7. Transfers abroad

OneDoc and HIN declare that they store the data in Switzerland. Google and Meta may also process data outside Switzerland. In that case their notices and the safeguards provided by the nFADP apply.

8. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, within the limits of the law (the medical record has retention duties). Complaint: Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), edoeb.admin.ch.

9. Scope

This notice concerns only the website swisscentromedico.ch and the practice at Via Alessandro Volta 1, 6900 Lugano. It does not cover other practices.
